Does a phone stand exist with USB 3.2?

Backstory (tl;dr easily switch between my computer and phone (android desktop mode) with the push of a button).

I have the button, but the USB the cables seems to need to be juuuuust right for desktop mode to kick in.

The plan is to affix a USBC phone stand to my desk that I can just plunk the phone in there without fiddling with the cables every time. I tried the MCON Dock but the USB is apparently charge only.

Any products out there anyone is aware of?

I don't know, though I'd expect so, but you can get a phone stand that exposes the USB port on the phone rather than a dock and plug whatever you want into the phone.

EDIT: Unless that's what you're currently doimg and aren't happy with.

Yeah the whole point is to avoid having the cables move at all since they are so sensitive.

I use magnetic cable adapters for my phone, have for 10 years now.

Started as a way to mitigate ports failing on a phone prone to it, now I can't imagine using regular cables.

This is a pricey one, I've always bought multi-packs for the same price.

They come in a variety of orientations.

Just attach the cable where you need it leaving a little flexibility and it'll click in.

Thanks I thought about this option but I didn't want to leave it in all the time. I've been looking all day however and it might be the best option! I wish I had a 3D printer I would print a cradle for a cable to snap into.

Check around you for libraries that may have a 3D printer for use. Usually they just charge for prints by the weight.
