Golden Spider Silk Cape
I've been obsessed with a golden silk orb weaver that built a web outside. The web is SO gold, the name is no exaggeration. That research led me to learn about this real-life legendary loot.

It's much larger than the main image makes it look:
I think it's the lighting - I thought it was a tiny thing on a black hanger at first, and then I realized that those were mannequin arms poking out the side
I'll be damned. I still thought it was a hanger.
Kinda looks like a towel.
Oh my god that is so lavish
Isn't it crazy? I want one.
The Wikipedia article is entirely devoid of tactile descriptions of the fabric.
Is it lighter, heavier than regular silk?
Is it stiffer or softer?
How durable is it comparatively? does it stretch?
Do flies stick to it?
Should I wash on delicate? Is it drier safe? I guess bleach is OK for taking tough stains out, because itโs not dyed.
Surely this calls for Oxiclean!?
It's probably like owning a 7 figure car, if there's a stain you have to call the dealership and they send a whole team out
I should call her...
I took that to mean the garment looks like an appealing vagina to you? Did I misunderstand?
It looks remarkably like the view from behind with legs up in the air. Might be easier to picture if you pretend only the center tassel is there.
Nope, you got it right.
::: spoiler NSFW I would share an image but my account is pretty much strictly SFW. :::

The article reads like an ad, but I'm not sure at whom it is targeted. Feels weird
