TWD's been dead to me for a very long time. They had some great stuff way back when, but when they kept leaning further and further into some sort of weird drama with a zombie background, it got really boring.
I wish TWD had died off and Z Nation had continued.
Yeah. When I started to watch I assumed it would lead to a final season with a clear end, each season to move more toward this end. Whether it would be a cure and a win for humanity or the total end of all human life. But it went to being a dramatic soap. TBH, I never found out if it got better. At some point I had to quit.
::: spoiler Spoilers for TWD S1
Pretty sure that particular outcome isn't possible in TWD universe. They are all infected, they just don't zombify until they die

I genuinely thought it must have ended ages ago. Like what even are they doing still?

You’d think at some point if people survived long enough without being infected, the infected people would die and the virus would die off with them.

The Walking Dead has always been a drama with a zombie background, even the graphic novels.
I didn't know this was still on TV, lol news to me!
Funny a "chief content officer" (wtf) would say that ...
