I feel bad for BoomBoys, it seems like they got the worst scheduling, must have arrived to the Team Spirit games pretty exhausted.
That might honestly explain their drafts and plays against Spirit. Some really puzzling stuff, I still don't understand why they didn't flex Lina into pos 1 and pick Slark against Ember game 1 when it was open.
Okay Puppey, you did your trademark thing in game 2 where you let the broken stuff through and try to beat it. Can we please go back to banning Bounty Hunter now?
Not the most exciting day of games, unfortunately. A lot of bad drafts, a lot of bad execution, most games felt like stomps. Not many even games, even in the Vision-Yandex series that ended 2-1.
Spirit look great, you can never count them out on main stage. If they play like this tomorrow I can't see them losing to Yandex, and I think they'll have a good shot against Vision. Which would definitely be an exciting final to watch.
Much better game 3, I was a fool to doubt Puppey. That Tiny worked perfectly and was able to be an initiator and tempo controller that Vision needed as Timber just completely took over the game.
Not the most exciting series overall, as each game was more or less a stomp, but very strong mentality to come back from the game 2. I don't think we'll see more Bounty Hunter this tournament, he just fucks up the entire game when he's in play.
