Yeah, couldn't have been an easy decision. They toyed with the idea of moving it to a different date, but I don't think they have great options there. You already have Coachella the month before typically, and no one really wants to deal with TN heat in July or August.

Farm sorely needs trees. They'd do a lot to mitigate flooding and would provide much needed shade and windbreaks. That and hard infrastructure to deal with drainage in the campgrounds. Centeroo is definitely improved. There's no avoiding mud if it rains with that many people. But you can find photos of people shin deep in water in the campgrounds 20 years ago.
