Australia is tilting perilously towards a police state with yet another government overreach – the ASIO Amendment Bill 2. The major parties ganged up, stifled debate. No committee, no community consultation. They ‘guillotined’ it through Parliament. 

Now the spy agency has powers to arrest citizens without a warrant, on the say of a politician, detain and question them. And you can’t tell anybody, or else face jail. #auspol #asio
