I always liked how Riker was clearly uncomfortable with the whole thing and only agreed to argue against data under threat of data losing any and all rights

I always felt like frakes showed enough emotion that it was known it bothered Riker, didn't go overly dramatic with it.

Honestly I don't think I could argue such a position given I don't believe it, and I would defend with my life preventing anyone from making such summary judgements as a result.

In other words, "fuck this trial, you're taking data over my dead body"

To complete that thought, they did the cover of La Bamba from the movie of the same name.

Cesar Rosas, of Los Lobos, had a bit of a solo career. I ended up with his Soul Disguise album (courtesy automatic mailing from one of those Columbia House type outfits) and it's not bad.
