Tools for PieFed instance admins, in 5 minutes
This is a quick run-through of the PieFed admin area to give you a feel for some of the great features Piefed offers to make running a fediverse instance easier.
If you want to know more see the 40 minute version where I go into much more depth and compare it with what Lemmy offers. Even in the 40 minute version I felt rushed, missed out things and like I wanted to linger for longer in some places. There's just so much.

Ok, 6 minutes. But it's 5 if you skip the bit where I say hello and get to the main content.
"Auto-defederate from any instance defederated by" is a great feature for new admins getting a new instance set up! It's like forking the experience of an existing instance.
It's fine until your instance gets dragged into a defederation you never intended to and a months-long blood feud begins.
Other than that, pretty clever if I do say so myself.
