Wow, they had a 2-bedroom unit with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and were only paying $3,695?
Right, and now it's $7000. Absolutely insane.
The tenant family didn't reach the eviction stage.
They could have dragged it out, possibly by not paying or underpaying rent, or other shenanigans, but sooner or later would have been evicted anyway.
Fortunately they found another place in the city.
