It will never fail to amuse me that somehow Dean Blundell has drifted into political commentary.

I'm betting that the Taco train ride will continue after Friday. After all, Carney has almost no incentive to actually make a deal. We know that it's not going to be worth the paper it's written on. And from the domestic politics side, the only people left in Canada that are pushing for Canada to make concessions are people who would never consider voting for the Liberals in the first place. Making a bad deal would tank his approval over night, and even a good deal would probably only be marginally more preferred than no deal at all.

My solution:

EVERYTHING goes through a port, dock, pipe or plug that lives on Miquelon. We 100% trade with them, and they 100% handle the subset they trade with the US as agents of the greater trade organization.

No, it's not sensible. But I think that's funny.
