Where did all of the trans Spiderman stuff come from? I'm cool with the comics/memes, it just seems to have come out of thin air.
I've been headcanoning Tom Holland Spider-Man as transmasc for 8 years, and My girlfriend has had a Petra Parker headmate for 2 years. This stuff has been around, but it broke containment recently and I'm here for it!
Into The Spider-Verse is also big trans vibes. "When will I know I'm trans?" "You won't, Miles. That's all it is. A leap of faith."
There's also been conspiracy theorizing that the color choices for gwen in spider-verse suggest she transitioned. I forget where i saw it though.

Yeah, it's worse, but you're still gonna be happier as your authentic self. It's never gonna be "too late".
Fun fact: My aforementioned girlfriend with the aforementioned Petra Parker headmate is trans too. When Petra Parker came over to this universe and My girlfriend's head, she thought she was a cis guy. Eventually, she realised that she was trans and changed her name to Petra. Just one problem, though. My girlfriend is such a big Spidey fan, she not only introjected Spider-Woman, she also changed her name to Petra. So now there are two Petras in her head, which is sometimes very confusing.
