Simultaneously, Oracle is not doing well due to the incredible amount of money they've dumped into AI with no expected return. The stock is down almost 40% over the past year, and could very well drop further. In order to cover that $40 billion, Ellison is likely going to have to liquidate a ton of assets, including Oracle stock
