It's gonna be scary, the US didn't have too many crazy heat events but we did have drought across many areas within the US that are usually uncorrelated or even opposite each other.

I suspect between US and Euro yield drag this will put a hard dip into the global carryover stocks , if next year is bad too I would suggest finding place to grow with at least personal garden with irrigation just to buffer the food price increases coming down the food chain. Need to check on Canada and see if they did better

If you have a garden and/or a windowsill, make sure you have something edible growing there. Between now and winter you can seed broad beans, peas, carrots and plant onions and garlic. All these can overwinter in a Northern European garden. Also, lots of aromatic herbs like parsley, coriander, dill.

I have zero trust in the authorities anymore to handle the shit that's going down. If you live urban, get out in time and settle somewhere rural near a water source.
