On a Mac, the function keys are useless. Since using a Mac for work, I've lost the need to use a function key and the memory of why you need them

its not that I need to swap the keys over, its that I dont use function keys at all. I cant now remember what most of them do

Yeah, I couldn’t handle working like that.

It’d be like forgetting CTRL+C (or CMD+C on Mac). No way am I using Edit > Cooy or right clicking to copy.

I even assign my own functions to the function keys that are unassisted (or the default is stuff I don’t need)

If you hold down the fn key, the touchbar shows the function keys, which is also how you use the fn keys on regular macs.

Also in bootcamp mode, that's the default behavior (since the touchbar is technically its own device with its own OS it can do whatever it wants).

Just wait until you get to the point where you might have enough to retire. The urge to bail gets really strong.

You reached the end
