We should be asking instead, what is the right amount of Gyökeres that helps Arsenal.

I think the problem is that he's the only true striker that Arsenal has. Havertz is a attacking midfielder who can also play as a striker, but, AFAIK he has never played a full season there. In 24/25 he played there more than any other position, but he only had 19 starts at striker in the league. In 23/24 he played mostly in midfield, with Jesus playing more as a striker.
Merino is also a midfielder who has had a lot of success at striker, but it's probably not his best position. Could he fill in there again? Sure. But, should we consider that as his primary position? I don't think so.
Then there's Gabriel Jesus. Since he moved to Arsenal from Man City, his primary position is as a striker. He used to be a left winger. Now... well I think if he isn't sold this summer we shouldn't count on him playing anything other than cup matches against much weaker sides.
Is Havertz + Gyokeres + Merino good enough for a team trying to win the Premier League again and the Champions League too?
I mean, frankly, it was good enough last season despite all our injuries, sans a penalty shootout. I'm not worried about our striker spot tbh. Gyokeres was pretty good last season and will get better as we and he continue to adjust to each other and as Saka returns.
