The only characters in comics who haven't come back to life are Bruce Wayne's parents and Peter Parker's uncle.

I want to say there was some alternate universe type story arc in the some comic in which the Waynes didn't die or something in that alley and it explores how Bruce would actually grow up if he had parents.

It was a comic and an episode of Superman The Animated Series.

Bruce, Dick, and Diana go to the Fortress for Super's birthday. Mogul arrives with parasitic plants that give you your perfect dream while they eat you. Kal-El grew up as a simple farmer on a Krypton that never exploded, and Bruce is a playboy.

I mentioned Flashpoint in a different comment here.

I was really hoping for Thomas Wayne in The Flash movie, but that was not to be.

Check out the Absolute Flash timeline comics.

::: spoiler spoiler ___Bruce died in the alley and his father became Batman. Martha went nuts and became The Joker. Thomas Wayne is even tougher and crazier than his sone. He runs a massive casino, has Oswald Cobblepott as his butler, and uses Hourman's highly addictive super serum to compensate for his age.

I was extremely annoyed when they had Keaton playing Bruce and not Thomas Wayne in the Flash movie. :::

Is this because the actor for Claire Bennett just passed?

This is the first I am hearing of that news. But even knowing that now, I don't see the connection.

EDIT: Okay, "Heroes", I kinda see the possible connection.
