"⏳ just a sec..." means the native comments plugin is waiting for beforeSubmit to finish its parent↔iframe round-trip. The normal next stage, "please wait...", only starts after that succeeds.

Sometimes a permanent hang is an unresolved beforeSubmit handshake. might happen in complicated comment plugin enviroment. so users will stuck in "⏳ just a sec..." forever unless refresh the session.
