How much have they received in grants and tax breaks from the Canadian government, maybe we should just take it back and use it to make vehicles in Canada ourselves.

Does it actually end up being a net benefit to Canada when we offer these incentives for mainly employees to pay all the taxes and the companies tax breaks and then leave when the breaks are over, it happens all the time but is it actually worth it?

Maybe we should just take the entire factory back without paying them and SELL it to the Chinese or Koreans?

And do what with it? The investment money just isn't there unless we want to use taxpayer dollars to research and design the product and outfit the lines. Maybe a better option than selling is to rent it to them. Become a country of landlords to industrial complexes. It works for China - land can not be privately owned, but leasehold rights can be bought.

Use it to make vehicles, maybe electric to sell elsewhere, use it for R&D, pretty sure it can be used for something.

I hear you that the investment money isn't there, it was more to the point of a statement to stop our government of just throwing money away, not putting a business plan together.

Hopefully seized by Canada as repayment for breaking our deals. It will hopefully be used to make a Canadian car company.
