Do you have tolls yet for all the tourists? That was a big issue a while ago. You were starting wind farms, hows that going? I think they were talking about uranium and fracking. Irving still spraying? Hows the prion disease outbreak going? Are fishermen still fighting? Hows poaching? Whats the moose population like now? How much are you paying for gas? So many questions.
No tolls yet. The wind farm in Penobsquis plans to expand. A potash in Millstream may finally happen. The province is looking at removing Nutrien's rights to the potash body in Penobsquis and giving it to someone else who is willing to go get it. Still no fracking. The majority of NBer's still don't want fracking. No idea about moose but much of the province is now overrun with deer. I was at a wedding in St. Andrews in the spring and saw a dozen to 18 deer on the lawn next to the church, within yards of people. I don't pay much attention to gas prices as I drive a hybrid. Not many forest fires so far this year, unlike last year which had more than ever.
Province is clear cut to hell. Why would I drive, use gas and my car, yet not know if its legal on the property to plant a tree, and whether billionaires (Irving) will cut it down and profit.
Lots of people immigrated, and its largely helped our healthcare system as a large amount of immigrants chose that sector goodness love them for it.
There are Canadian flags all over the province. In very urban spots to very rural spots. Everywhere.
A lot more people biking nowadays, and e-bikers. I wish Fed and Prov governments would give incentives for e-bikes instead of e-cars.
Farmers Markets are more busy and have more vendors.
Loud vehicle problem keeps getting worse. Cops and politicians act confused as what to do other than "hope for the right moment to find a half-cut exhaust pipe" - its a joke given we are in 2026 and the technology snd knowledge we have. And that some are so loud that a quarter of the city can hear them.
Everyone is hating on Trump.
Forest fires are a concern to everyone, but we are too distracted hating on Facebook.
People seem to be shifting to healthier lifestyles. Which NB super needs.
Healthcare and education is still underfunded. We could use some more good local journalism. Something like NB Media Co-Op.
Irving's still haven't repaid approx $400 million the last government gave them through property tax forgiveness.
Shale (natural) gas may be explored again. Thus we might see some major protests and people waters getting ruined in the province again.

Our highways are looking decent.

PEI bridge and NL ferry are 50โ the price.
We're getting a regular influx of big musicians playing in Moncton, sometimes Fredericton, like https://protestthehero.ca/tour-dates/
