I’m not too familiar with her discography but she seemed to have been a very inspirational figure in the experimental electronic music scene. e.g. flume was very influenced by her unique sounds.
Just listening to this gives you a good picture of her great talents. It’s hard to believe she is no longer here with us.
I mostly prefer the more experimental side of trap, so most of my favorite music definitely drew inspiration from SOPHIE. My favorite producer, Revazz, had explicitly called out SOPHIE as his main inspiration or something.
