Yup, you can get really high under capitalism if you're ruthless and cynical.

She's looking for a sugar daddy, or she's a hypocrite. I'm betting she doesn't realize the implications with this one.

It makes a good point though. What is the saying....

A reasonable person sees the world and tries to adapt to it. An unreasonable person sees the world and tries to make it adapt to them. Therefore the world is formed by unreasonable people. Be the good kind of unreasonable.

Sounds like something someone who sold their soul without realizing it would say (͠≖~≖ ͡ )

Probably just another work-martyr who didn't realize she made indecency seem like a shortcut with this one.

Or rather, "anyone who does better than me either worked harder or cheated". Nothing interesting to see here.

As a "successfull", if shady and often indecent person, who really tries at this whole "understanding people and how things work" thing, I kinda resent having her lumped-in with me.

Porn-stars and Onlyfans models might say something remotely like this, if most werent honest enough to just say "give me money" or "here's my ass, give me money". Better people than OOP or me, yes, but I'm not going to tell you to break yourself on the non-existant "ladder to success" or throw shade on those who get "ahead" of me.

Alternatively if you want to play risky, please the superiors of a department tangential to your own to try and get internally poached.

Technically I wasn't really trying, but it's how I made it off the IT hell desk.

This is just bad English. Why would you try to claim that quote as your own?

They didn't try to claim. They claimed.

Do you still want to criticize a 2L speaker's English grammar?

You reached the end
