Nearly 43% of households in this age group lack retirement accounts, relying more on home equity or earnings.
About 77% of households carry debt, with mortgages and home-equity loans being the largest liabilities.

As a 59 year old Gen Xer, yes.
As a 61-year-old boomer not much changed in those 2 years. Lol
Boomers these days are between 62 and 80 years old though, so not sure what the point is that you're trying to make. That things started going downhill with GenX?
Point is that most boomers aren't sitting all pretty like Gen Z thinks. The future looks pretty grim for many.
