The Suicide Squad was pretty decent. Especially compared to Suicide Squad. and Peacemaker is pretty good, though the rock soundtrack and frequent yelling make it a bit tougher to binge.
I'd definitely jam along if I didn't watch it all within two days.
Is the "obnoxious" angle supposed to be some hint at Chris not growing from the past and/or not moving on? (barring spoilers) I could see it, but there are so many other details pushing for it that including the soundtrack itself is weirdly meta.
There was talk of Cena playing Duke Nukem but the world doesn't need that guy right now. Enough toxic masculinity as it is (sarcastic parody or not, plenty of people take it as serious).
If Cena brings Ernest instead at least it's a goofy character that saves the day by being goofy and having a heart.

Nah. His contract won’t let him be in good films.

The cringe glam rock motif is supposed to be obnoxious.
Doesn't work, I fucking love It
I said obnoxious not bad.
Wait, supposed to be obnoxious?!

I loved peacemaker. Really hoping for more.
Maybe we'll finally find out who Vern is.
Vern, was us all along.
Maybe the real Verne was the friends we made along the way.
I'd kinda love this tbh.

I hope this entire career has just been him preparing for the biopic
Holy shit now I know why John Cena always seemed so familiar!
"Hey Vern! I'm invisible!"
did he really lose all his peds in 2026.
I believe it.
I saw him on a bread display yesterday, I think it was natures path.
I mean, i guess the money is good, but still, it's not a good look.
At least Ernest never prostrated himself for the CCP.
what?
I’m under 30 and had no idea who the guy in the 4th panel is. Dug around based on the other comments and found this: Ernest P. Worrell
"Oh, hi Ernest. I didn't see you there."
