Yeah this show really likes to speed run through things. I wish we could just sit with some storylines a bit sometimes. The whole "trial" was like a minute long lol
My understanding is that Exodus's powers are based on the belief of people around him, so when he sensed the wavering of the support of his followers, he decided he couldn't afford to wait for Colossus's verdict since he might be too weakened to act by then.
