Thank you! I love knitting these blankets, they are my go-to in between projects and whenever I need something simple yet satisfying.

And the gloves will supposedly help with my hand not being completely destroyed by hours of knitting, haha. We shall see.

It is really satisfying to be able to make something with your own hands, so that's really cool. I should maybe think about taking it up in the winter when I am antsy and need to keep my hands busy or something. Ohhh I see I thought they were more of a fashion thing I like the color 💜 but that makes sense too, good luck to your hands!

I'm loving this. Our last 3 dogs have been rescues and we're on our 4th consecutive foster. Well, 5th consecutive, but the 2nd was a foster fail and he's a full time member now. My wife volunteers a couple time a week at a local shelter, and it's unfortunately by some railroad tracks and a baseball stadium that blows up fireworks after each home game. Comfort blankets could go a long ways there.

Feel free to dm me the shelter name, I could send some blankets there! I’m all about spreading the love.

We have had our share of rescues (and 1 foster fail) because we used to adopt older dogs with health issues. As a result, they didn’t live too long. My son finally asked us to get a younger healthy dog, which was totally fair and better for his mental health. So, now we have two goobers, 5 and 3 years old. When they cross the rainbow bridge, we will go back to adopting old souls.

That's really nice. They'll never know why they have a soft, lovingly-knitted blanket, but I'm sure they enjoy it! ❤️

Thank you! I try to use blue and yellow yarn because that’s the colors cats and dogs see best. I like to think it gives them something bright and comfortable. Just ordered 22 more skeins of yarn for these “puppies”!
