Seeking help making a short demo video for a Windows app hosted on GitHub

First thing since this is Lemmy I want to say up front this is in regards to a Windows app.

I like to make things sometimes, but I'm terrible at showing them off, is there anyone with a passion for making little demos that could help me out? I'm really proud of this little tool I made but I don't feel like I can really explain it to people well and a demo I could have in the GitHub description would really take it to the next level.

Thanks for taking the time to even read this!

If you want to be upfront about something, put it in the title. I opened this but can't help because it 's on that AI - infested mess.

Updated the title to hopefully be totally informative about what this is.

You don't need a video. You need marketing & communication 101. During covid I am sure some professors uploaded lectures to youtube, or pick up the book if it's more your jam. Think about what you want to communicate to a person coming across your project for the first time. Make bullet points and rank them. Then begin writing including all the information in that order.

A good readme would be sufficient. Go to some popular project and copy their structure of its readme in your project.
