perchance·Perchance - Create a Random Text GeneratorbyCasuls_Die_Thrice

I've noticed something:

I’ve been running a number of stories/scenarios on the RPG generator; there are certain specific words/things that seem to pop up in all the stories, regardless of genre:

-Voss

-Wren

-Okafor

-Mara

-Black lace

-Marrow

-Juno

-Hanging the moon

I’m sure there are other commonalities, but these are just the ones I’ve picked up on; is this sheer coincidence, or is there an underlying aspect of the system that does this; the “ai-text-plugin” maybe? This is regarding the sample scenarios already present, it should be noted.

I brainstorm a lot of story and game ideas with ChatGPT and it almost always uses Mara as a placeholder name along with other common ones. I had a chat with it about it too, why it thinks that is. Of course I don't remember the full response but it basically admitted that certain names are just algorithmically easier to think of for the AI. It's basically like certain names take a fraction of a fraction less tokens to process and Mara happens to be one. then other AI's work off the same training data, steal data and distill new AI's off old ones and the same names and tendencies persist on.

Hi, I have noticed some of those myself, One ai chat bot I made had pet mouse and the ai named it Marrow, and when I added a extra npc to a chat story the ai named it Juno.
