Minecraft bumps PC system requirements for the first time in 17 years
Microsoft finally updated the recommended specs for Java Edition: 16 GB RAM, a six-core CPU, and an RTX 2060. The old 2010-era baseline (4 GB RAM, GeForce 700 series) no longer cuts it. Reason: the big shift from OpenGL to Vulkan 1.3.
The game won't block low-end rigs, but don't expect stable FPS or bug-free play. SAY GOODBYE, old hardware ๐
