Currently in the bathroom during my wedding, first time to myself in 15 hours, taking it all in.
It's been a long long day and I still haven't had much to drink, I'm waiting till the dances are done then I'm going to cut loose a bit. It's been nothing but hugs and smiles and handshakes and everybody stopping us cuz they want to say hi and beautiful speeches and I am pooped. It's a fantastic wedding. I'm still nervous about my dance even though I'm tired as f***. But in a moment after I watch two minutes of chainsmoker cat. I'm going to head back out there and try my hardest not to fall on my ass on a lumpy dance floor outside. Wish me luck.

Congrats! I had my wedding reception last night (we eloped last year), and it's surreal to be reading this the next morning. I feel that anxiety surrounding all the planning, and the waiting, and the anticipation... We had a great time at ours -- In the end, it felt like it was all over too soon. Hope you have a great time at yours.

It's a bit too late now, but for anyone else, make sure someone packs you both a takeaway food box, as well as beverages.
When we got married, we spent the whole time going around talking to people and neither one of us got a chance to really eat. Fortunately, someone with experience had thought ahead. We ended up back at our place super late, tired, happy, starving, and grateful to discover the goodie bag.

Finally winding down, the choreographed dance we've been practicing for two months went great, I messed up placement but no one noticed cause we boxed back to the correct spot in time. I actually screwed up my back good this morning sleeping wrong so I was worried I wouldnt get to do it. But the acetomenophin did it's job and we nailed it. Thank God.
Soak it up. Not all of us will get that experience. I'm super jelly if you can't tell.

Sounds nightmarish
I mean in some ways yeah, it ultimately wasn't too bad. Worst part was managing my now wife's anxiety since I tend to do a bit better with these things
