Other than the presence of Jimothy, If you told me that was a several hundred year old etching, I'd believe you. They've done such a good job with the drawing style.
Tilly seems to be thriving despite her condition. And I also think she looks adorable!
Several people brought up concerns that someone could breed dogs like this on purpose, and I agree that would be terrible.
I don’t believe anyone on Lemmy is going to do that though. So Tilly, Jimothy, and Quasi the Great remain as mascots to the disabled community for now.

I thought Jimothy was a picture of a raccoon from a funny angle that made it look like that. Is it actually a raccoon with that irregular body shape?

It is! He has short spine syndrome so he has almost no tail and a severely shortened spine.
There are about 30 dogs worldwide with short spine syndrome and an unknown number of wild animals. It is a very rare congenital defect.
