  • Rebuilt basically all of the script to be easier to be easier to understand and adapt (make a plan before you start, it'll save time...)

  • Squashed some bugs, maybe introduced some new ones, but they should be easier to squash now with the rewrite

Looks like 2 months ago (2026-05-17) Lemmy.world was ~38.5% of Lemmy (13163 MAU). Today (2026-07-25) it is ~37.9% (13273 MAU).

So, it's gotten a few more users (~100), but Lemmy got relatively bigger during that time bringing down their % of the Lemmy community.

This does not account for Piefed and Mbin which both increased during the same 2 months (roughly +3000 MAU between them).

To conclude, Lemmy.world is propositionally smaller within Lemmy and within the wider threadiverse, compared to 2 months ago.
