First time flying the Nomad today and earned 411 million credits in exobiology in ~3 hours.

I'm a casual player, not very fast imo. The Nomad makes it really easy to find stuff from above using the ship scanners and to get there quickly. Now exobiology feels right for me. No more endlessly strolling through the landscapes in a rover, we're pilots! You still have to scan biologicals with your handheld scanner, but you can always land nearby or often even on it and scan though the ship floor. It should become available for credits in September or December..

Also TIL that you can filter through kinds of biologicals when you're in orbit. Press q or e in DSS mode to switch the type (fungus, bacteria,cactus,...) that's shown on the body. So you see where you have to search if there are different biologicals.

I was farming a system with 5 bodies that have 4-5 biologicals each and it didn't feel impossible at all. Before that I've tried exobiology but always felt overwhelmed by the boringness of this particular grind

It flies like a souped up shopping cart and you can land it like a stone. - no auto landing but that's not at all necessary
