"the lore" also states Rachael didn't have a programmed obsolescence and since Deckard as a replicant is all but confirmed these days with even Ford on board we can assume Deckard didn't either.
It was never openly stated. Whatever they write on that matter will certainly be a retcon. There's no canonical reason for Deckard to not die just as any other synth. He was just a glorified executioner after all. It is like putting WiFi on a letter opener. Sure, it could be done, but what's the point? There's no in universe reason for that to happen.

The main character of Blade Runner should have a big beard, to signify that they are running from the blade.
not holding my breath. amazon has not a great track record. lots of "looks really neat", but not a lot fo "has a great story"
Fallout keeps getting renewed, so it seems to be doing well.
Is Harrison Ford in it?
If no then I'll watch it. Not that he's a bad actor but because I hate member berries and geezer teezers
This takes place 50 years after Blade Runner 2049. I can't imagine Harrison Ford would be in it... at least I hope not.
I mean isn't he supposed to be a synth himself? Could easily make him not decay the same.
In universe lore is that synthetics are pre programmed to die. They live very short lives. That's like, the whole plot of the first blade runner.
That doesn't change the conspiracy theorey?
I mean the woman who he runs away with is a replicamt, and special made. Who's to say hes not an illegal one?
Wouldn't that make sense why the replicants in the first movie hunted him? To get them to live longer.... Like him perhaps?

Solid chance he gets Picarded
Amazon can't generally be trusted to not kill promising shows. I'll wait until its run its course before I waste my time again.
As long as Ridley Scott is as far from it as possible.
Pucker up, then. This isn't the last one by far. I mean, Disney hasn't gotten ahold of it yet, even. 😜
Don't get me wrong, Bladerunner is a classic, IMHO, and I'm excited about this one.
Don't even need to dig deep enough to uncover the Nazis they imported post-WWII, either.🤷🏼♂️
A good friend of mine was a fairly senior dev for them in the 00s, and his stories alone were enough for me to avoid giving them any money at all. 🤢🥲
