Document Scanner defaults to the wrong scanner. How do I change what it is defaulting to?
Right now it defaults to
Brother HL-L3300CDW
when it should default to
eSCL Brother HL-L3300CDW series
how do i fix this? I'm assuming it's editing a configuration file somewhere. Just not sure where.

I should clarify that I only have one physical scanner/printer. Document Scanner is just defaulting to the wrong option in the scanner software.

Is it just alphabetical, and are you able to rename the printer/scanners?
no , it is much simpler, basically press super key or move the mouse to the mint logo🥸, then see the prefrences tab hover over it🤓, you should see "preferred application" once you click on it you will find it mr or ms @andrewta 🧐
