As for your generous offer regarding Linux support: I was thinking on having a look at CachyOS, but I noticed that it uses fish instead of bash. Do you have any experience with fish? Is it really that different?

As for fish I personally haven't really used it enough to have a solid opinion so take this with a grain of salt lol. To me it seems like a more user / beginner friendly option with better qol features like auto complete however it comes at the expense of cross compatibility. Like where zsh and bash scripts are just about identical fish varies further.
That said I think u can also swap to zsh or bash np :P
