Chickens are only flightless if you clip their flight feathers. They are not very good flyers, but an adult chicken with intact feathers can fly a good 20 or 30 ft at a stretch. That said, a good rooster, made flightless or not, will try to fuck you up if given the chance.

Very true. I mean, look what happened to Australia.

Ostrich and emu will certainly fuck you up. The Aussies declared war on the emu and lost. Emu War 1932 Not the mention the extinct moa or giant moa on the other side of the Tasman.

Well, there are 4 F's. Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn. So it depends on which flightless birds we're talking about. Pinguïns are cool mother fuckers so you might think they freeze. But underneath that tuxedo, they are packing serious heat.

The ostrich for sure fights. One slap with it's neck and a kick and you're KO for sure.

Emu's just come with an entire army even the Australians would loose a war against (which they did) so they are also fight for sure.

My ancestors wiped out all the dodo's (yeah I'm Dutch) so I don't know how much of a fight they put up.

Chickens, as shown in the picture, can fly without issues as long as we don't clip their wings. If we do clip them, yeah, they become flightless, but underneath all those feathers they are some bad ass dinosaurs who can pick some serious punch.

Hmm ok yeah maybe they are all fight mode. Don't pick fights with flightless birds unless you're Dutch and find a dodo.
