EU Commission fines Google €890 million for breaches of the Digital Markets Act
For self-preferencing its own services and for putting in place restrictions on businesses to direct consumers to alternatives.
This is a start. These fines need to escalate for continued inaction.

Search for "google pays xai" and you'll get hundreds of results, maybe your search algo is cooked
@NihilsineNefas Silly me. I thought you meant the EU were paying the monthly fee.
Easy mistake to make, I dread to think how much the EU countries are paying into the datacenter pot, that number would definitely be hard to search for
