Bullet train dream: Poland building ‘railway of the future’ with 350 km/h supertrains
Poland is developing Europe’s fastest and most modern rail network, which will carry almost 800 million passengers a year at speeds of up to 350 km/h, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said.

This is what our right wing government here in Sweden decided a few years ago we can not have but keep repairing our over hundred years old rail network that is so worn our thirty years old trains can't run full speed on them.
Now that same government is taking credit that the very same old railroad being partially rebuilt because of demands from NATO that it must at least work well enough for military logistics.
Stop, I can only get so erect/wet. This is awesome, more to public transit!
It's great to see a neighbouring country doing well
350kmh bahaha this is bullshit. They can't even implement ETCS2/GSM-R on Warsaw-Białystok to increase the speeds to 200 km/h despite the track being adapted to those speeds.
Man, Poland is out here building 350 km/h rail while we can’t even get Amtrak to show up on time. As an American reading this thread genuinely stings a little. We invented the modern passenger railroad and now we’re over here getting lapped on infrastructure by a country a third our size. Meanwhile my “high speed rail” option is a Greyhound that breaks down outside Sacramento. Cool cool cool, love that for us.
If only it was solely public transport y'all are getting lapped.
😭
I always wanted to visit Poland by train. Cool. ❤️
You misspelled Japan.
I assume Poland is several decades behind Japan - especially when I see some clips from the Shinkansen Maglev 😳

Ooh, do they want to make a kind of Shinkansen?
I believe it when I see ETCS2 on their tracks first. Announcements are cheap and easy.
You dont need trains wich will speed up to 350, just raise the average speed up, that will help everybody
