That's a great point. I hadn't really thought about where you'd ride them.

It's for street riding. That way you get the whole lane but can ride on the inside.

Jokes aside, if this was a quick attach/release scenario, you could ride somewhere with someone, drop them off, hook the bikes together and bike away.

In reality, I'd like to see a bike rack that could support this stupidity...

Of course, a traditional tandem could do the same and wouldn't be 6' wide or whatever. You'd probably look a little odd riding a tandem alone, but I'd take that over this setup.

Another great point...how would you transport them? Maybe the poles do come off somehow. He's local to me, maybe I should go check it out in person!
