He's not spending it, he's investing it, and it will return to him tenfold.
Mamdani: invests political capital in community, earns dividends of public goodwill and voter support, reinvests it in community.
Trump: uses a commercial xerox bought with billionaire donor and foreign money to print cheap fake political capital, blows it on plastic gold-painted bricks for himself that he thinks are solid gold, prints more when it runs out.
Schumer and Jefferies: Found a magic incantation 15 years ago that created enough political capital to buy a donut. They keep repeating the incantation even though it doesn't create any more. They have kept the capital stashed under their beds for 15 years waiting for the perfect donut to spend it on, thinking everyone will be so grateful when they share it, even though by now it can only cover a donut hole.
Ludicrous. Just squander it and go to the DNC for a bailout. /s
