Graduate degrees just prove someone is very knowledgeable about one specific field of study. Nobody said they couldn't be idiots over anything else.

Unfortunately you're right. Maybe I'm deluding myself but I like to believe that higher education strives to be at least somewhat well rounded. I don't know what the programs are like everywhere but in my undergrad as a science major I also had to take courses from various disciplines(English composition, anthropology, philosophy, art, history, etc).

It also says "Hindu" so English might be their second language

naaah bro. A lot of people in India knows the meaning of communism, socialism and capitalism. Dating apps are cesspool of humanity, and terms of India, even worse.

Hindu is a religion, not a language. You can be educated while being a hindu.

Socialism is when you are social. The more social you are, the more socialism it is. If you are very social, you live in a commune

"extrovert with close friends" is just introvert

I had to Google this. Hmmmm well I'm planning a wedding rn and my invites are probably around 200 people. So I guess that.

Can all 200 of these change your undergarments, clean you up, and carry you around?

’cause for me that's close relationships. Closer are intimate partners.

Yeah, what's your close friendship number?

Extroverts have a much wider pool they can easily get close to.

We are past talking about people you know.
How many of them can change adult diapers for you?

Ok but you realize you used the term "Dunbar number" incorrectly?

But to answer your other question? Idk maybe 2-4 people

I wish I was that naive. Imagine how much less rage-inducing life would be. You could just vibe and get along.

There is a reason the happiest people are usually ignorant to their surroundings. Head in the sand works for a lot of people’s sanity.

Am I being defensive or is that first question combative?

21

I read it as being maybe mildly combative but in a flirty way. But also conveying emotion over text is difficult, so I'd assume good intentions until unless given reason not to.

18

If you are sending this kind of thing as a first message on dating apps, you are probably getting ignored a lot

1

If you have lots of choice you can afford to vet strictly lol. I guess also if you’re used to people being arses you put up a bit of a wall before they pass the vibe check.

2

That reminds me of one of my favorite Michael Scott quotes: "I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious."

14

What you can choose depends on your country, for example in mine it's only "Moderate", "Liberal", and "Conservative", but I've seen polish people with "Leftist". Tbf I haven't seen explicit socialist

To be fair, when i first heard about socialism thats where my mind wandered too

Similarly, I was clearing out old, embarrassing emails from 20+ years ago and came across a conversation I had with a young woman I was trying to impress. She mentioned Scientology and how much it “just made sense” to her. I agreed, that was the only religion I could see myself following.

1

I wouldn’t say I’m socialist. My brother isn’t very social, and I’m socialer than him, though not as social as my little sister. She’s really the socialist.

5

You know, like a conversationalist! I converse, I'm social, what else would you call it? 😛

You reached the end
