"Strong heel" test
Testing the "strong heel" method. No flap, scrap yarn, hole, picking up stitches, Kitchener, or weaving loose ends. This might be my new heel. Available in toe up or top down. It solves every problem with knitting heels.

The important thing is that you aren't doing toe up.
I wouldn’t know how to hide the casting
There are ways. None of them better than Kitchener on the toe down. Which is the worst but still great option on top town.
