Tend: Beta 1 Release

We are currently in Beta, but the core features are built and ready for testing!

Here is what you can do in this release:

  • Connections: Add contacts with their notes, social links, and relationship context.
  • Custom Reminders: Set your own check-in frequencies and get daily notifications so you never accidentally let a relationship drift.
  • Important Dates: Track birthdays and anniversaries with annual reminders.
  • Home Dashboard: See exactly who is due for a check-in at a single glance.
  • QR Sharing: Share and import connection profiles completely offline via QR code.
  • Data Backup: Full JSON export and import backups. Your data is yours.
  • Organization: Search by name and archive connections you don't need in your main view.

Beta Notice: This is an early release, so please use the Data Management -> Export Backup feature regularly to keep your data safe between updates!

If you want to give it a try, report a bug, or help shape the roadmap, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Installed it, gonna set it up fully later. Honestly great for my brain. I forget to reach out almost all of the time

seems neat, I just installed it and imported contacts.

is there a way to randomize the contact dates for the people I've imported or set a default that's longer than 14 days?

A lot of people I stay in touch with over text; I know it is semantics but having a call / txt time-lien that is separate would be nice.

I'm not on telegram anymore otherwise I'd put thoughts there.

again, think this is a cool idea - I had some friends try and start a company based around 'digital business cards' that is similar / different from this.

There's custom days/frequency field below the Check-in frequency card. Or are you referring to other specific thing? Sorry, I'm a little confused.:)

So I've got a lot of contacts in my phone and want to batch import them all at once.

Once I've done this I now have to go through each contact to set a specific reach out timeline for each contact.

When batch importing it would be nice to have a feature to set the initial reach out timeline to a random number of days. EG: a box that asks "number of days to reach out" where the default would be 14 from the import date, or a chekc box that could be "each contact is given a random number of days between [min] and [max] value."

not sure sure if this makes any more sense now

Thanks! or even do this to all your contacts already imported.

As if I get behind on a lot of getting in touch, this way I can do a "random reset" to feel less guilty about things like.

Installing now before Google makes it impossible 😅
