Any answer other than a simple 'No' should be interpreted as a 'Yes'.
Can they teach this in American journalism schools please? It’s called having a spine.
The main thing they teach in journalism school nowadays is "you don't bite the hand that feeds you".
Context please?
A resident of Tyrone Township, MI with allocated time to ask public officials questions asked if they signed NDAs about things that affect the public in the context of data centers is getting push back instead of just a series of 'no' answers.
From the exchange it sounds like they talked about it in another setting, and my guess is that this one is on the public record and the officials don't like being put on the spot. Their refusal to answer with a 'no' is a strong sign that they are up to shady shit no matter how many times they are asked.
