Seems like a fair analysis. There's an article in Scroll now that shows how figures are scewed to make BJP led states look good. Self-deception has always been a major problem, and might be growing worse.

oh definitely, this wasn't unexpected, present govt's priority was always perception management rather than truth and governance.
