Is the Android app crashing for anyone else?

Despite being on the latest update, very often I've been seeing Signal crash right after sending a message. It's not after every single message, but often enough, it just sends me back to the home screen. After crashing enough times, my phone automatically suggests cache-cleaning, which I then follow the prompt for, but which doesn't seem to fix things for long. I've never seen this error before and am wondering if it's just me or if others have seen this as well as of late.

Okay, well, good to know. This has been going on and off for probably two weeks now, I'd say.

Oh, yeah, how's Molly been? Does it actually add any features or is it just purely telemetry-stripped Signal? People warned against it due to security update-lagging, so I never got around to trying it...

I dont see any additional features, i just use it because its on fdroid and has all the play services optional dependencies removed

It adds the ability to have >1 desktop device, and also adds support for UnifiedPush and MollySocket. And some other stuff. It's all on the Molly homepage.

Can I switch over or is it a restart and need to move my contacts to molly too?

Very easy to switch. Contacts are never stored in the app.

And it is interoperable? As in I can message people on signal?

I use it because it allows you to lock signal when you're not using it. It doesn't just lock, it encrypts the data inside as well.

Stock signal used daily to talk to one person - no crashes ever. She never told me of any issues either
