There is no reason they would be healthier or have a good shape, they might focus on a few muscle groups that gave them the best feedback. They might be puny with giant forearms like Popeye or have one big calf.
Slight flaw in your reasoning. Being sore, DOMs, aren't a constant thing after training. It's more of an response to novel stimulus. With consistent and frequent training that soreness can almost completely disappear.
Of course depending on individuals, some don't get that lucky and they still get sore even years after consistent training.

I like being sore, it's a reminder that I did something good.
