To beat the heat, I installed a custom AC on my lawn tractor.
This worked surprisingly well, the fan is held in place by hopes and prayers, and my hand when moving up or down hill

Can get the same effect if you just drive the mower faster. Much faster.

I've done this with another brand of 18v battery fan. But I used a couple of bungee cords to strap it down to the hood, stays on through bumps and hills.
The only drawback is when you pilot the mower through a cloud of dust and it blows in your face

It's own, the fan is from the M18 line of tools, that fan is s godsend when summer camping.
Sounds like a permanent solution then.
