@kobo I own a #Kobo Elipsa 2E ereader, which cost a whopping €400. A few days ago, I noticed a crack in the outer frame, near the reset button. I contacted #Kobo_Italia support for repairs, but they don't offer any support or repairs for this model, their top-of-the-line, essentially disposable model. Furthermore, the warranty doesn't cover damage deemed to be attributable to the user. Be careful when buying.

What did you expect, realistically? For them to swap the cracked frame for free?

@lepinkainen No, absolutely. I asked them to provide me with the address of their repair center to contact me, even for a fee. Maybe you read badly before you answered. Clarify: neither they nor their partners provide assistance and repairs for the top-of-the-range product they sell.
