What's the catch?
Same politics, different face?
Maybe he is trying to get into the world Guiness book for first fascist to leave politics early without having a plan to not really leave. You never know, somebody has to be the first.
I just checked r/serbia. People are saying he's probably lying (he already said he'd resign and then didn't) or that he'd just do the Putin-Medvedev sort of switch to PM position. Overall, total indifference from the population.
Could also be that he wants elections in Summer, when everyone is on vacation.
